Leave No Trace is a set of 7 principles of outdoor ethics created by the Leave No Trace Center of Outdoor Ethics to promote conservation in the outdoors. The seven principles of Leave No Trace are:

  • Plan ahead and prepare.

  • Travel and camp on durable surfaces.

  • Dispose of waste properly.

  • Leave what you find.

  • Minimize campfire impacts.

  • Respect wildlife.

  • Be considerate of other visitors.
